John O’Connell, 80, of Ionia, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in Belding.
 He was born April 20, 1925, in Kalamazoo, the son of John Richard Sr. and Mary
Keith O’Connell.  John married Donna Bullis Kilduff in 1987, who preceded him in
death in 2005.

John is survived by his children, John O’Connell of Haslett, Michael O’Connell
and Selina Frase, Chrisandra Yenchar, both of Ludington, Dan O’Connell of
Belding; stepchildren, Kris Wickerink of Ionia, Richard and Marcia Kilduff of
Stanton, Sue and Tom Repik of Lowell, Daniel Kilduff of Ionia, Sally Jo and Dan
Wood of Lyons; sisters, Bessie Fox of Muskegon, Jo Fox of Petoskey, Virginia and
Richard Underwood of Ludington; seven grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, six
great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with the
Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  The family will receive friends and relatives
6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on
Saturday.  Memorial contributions in John’s name may be made to Hospice of
Michigan Grand Rapids.
