MARGARET O'CONNELL
Mrs. Margaret O'Connell, 85, died Friday morning at her home in Grand Rapids
following an extended illness.

She was born in Ionia June 29, 1890, the daughter of Lewis Schmolz and attended the
Ionia schools. She was graduated from Catholic Central High school in Grand Rapids.

She was the widow of Stephen Bruce O'Connell.

Among her survivors are three sons, Robert, Louis and Philip of Grand Rapids; nine 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 10 am at the St. Ambros chapel of St. Andrews church on 
Sheldon street Grand Rapids, Msgr Hugh Michael Beahan will officiate. Until Monday 
morning the body will be at the Metcalf-Jonkhoff funeral home 933 Cherry, S.E.,
Grand Rapids.

Interment will be at the Mt. Olivet cemetery in Ionia at 11:30 am with Fr. Mark
VanGorp officiating.
