Sentinel-Std. - Monday, July 16, 1979

HUBBARDSTON- Mamie L. O'Connell, 80, of 338 Hanover, Hubbardston, passed away 
at Carson City hospital Saturday after a lengthy illness.

Born February 24, 1894, she was thee daughter of Clarence Doddard and Loretta 
Timlin, and was a lifelong resident of the Hubbardston-Clinton County area.

She graduated from Hubbardston High School and the Mt. Pleasant County Normal, 
and she taught in rural schools in Clinton County.

She was married to James O'Connell in Hubbardston Oct. 1, 1918, and he preceded 
her in death in 1961.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Willie (Helen) Hills of Mason, and Mrs. 
Clifford (Vera) O'Grady of Hubbardston, six grandchildren and 12 great- 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the St. John's Baptist Church in 
Hubbardston, with the Rev. Father Eugene Fox officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Rosary will be Monday at 8 p.m. 

Arrangements were made by the Estep Funeral Home in Muir.
