CARSON CITY- Mrs. Mary Elizabeth O'Connell, 78, of rural Carson City, died 
Saturday at Carso City hospital.

She was born September 16, 1899 in Wagner, South Dakota, the daughter of 
Patrick and Margaret O'Connor.

She married Dennis O'Connell 54 years ago. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs.  Rosemary Devorin of Pewamo; three sons, 
Matthew of Edmore, Patrick of Detroit and Thomas of Carson City, three sisters, 
Florence and Charlotte O'Connor of Mitchell, South Dakota and Mrs. Margaret 
Blare of Apache Junction, Arizona; nine grand-children and two great-
grandchildren.

Funeral mass was Monday at St. Mary's church in Carson City with burial in 
Maryknoll cemetery.

Arrangements were by the Schnepp funeral home.
