Ionia County News - Thursday, Feb. 19, 1942

Funerals services for Timothy O'Connell were held Tuesday morning, February 17 
at St. John the Baptist Church. Rev. E. R. Fox officiated at the funeral mass.

Timothy O'Connell, son of Mary Crowley and Tom O'Connell was born March 13, 
1859 in Canada. When seven years of age he came with his parents to Michigan 
and most of his life was spent as a farmer in this vicinity until a few months 
ago, when he entered a home for the aged, at Grand Rapids. It was here that 
death came following a heart attack. He was brought to the Burns Funeral Home 
at Hubbardston, Monday afternoon. Surviving him is one sister, Mrs. Ed. 
Fitzpatrick of Hubbardston, several nieces and nephews, besides many other 
relatives and friends.
