Portland Observer – Thursday, 8 February 1923
Miss Bridget O’Conner, who has been ill for the past 16 years and who had been 
confined to her bed for 13 years, passed away at her home here Friday morning 
at 4:30.  Miss O’Conner was born in Ontario, Canada, March 12, 1836 and was 
the last member of the O’Conner family.  Her niece, Miss Bridget Lacrous has 
cared for her.  Miss O’Conner is survived by the following nieces:  Miss 
Bridget Lacrous and Mrs. Thomas, of Hubbardston; Mrs. L. Winters and Mrs. Bert 
Haight, of Ionia, and a nephew, W.C. Lacrous, of Deer River, Minn.
