Mr. O’Conner was taken to Grand Rapids last Wednesday. He had been sick for a long time. Funeral services will be held at the Sullivan funeral home, Grand Rapids, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will take place in Grand Rapids. Mr. O’Conner, a painter by trade, came to Ionia eight years ago from Grand Rapids to work in the Pere Marquette car shops. He had lived for years in the vicinity of Sparta. He leaves his widow; a daughter, Mrs. A. I. Cahill, Grand Rapids; a grandchild, and brothers and sisters.
