Ionia County News, 29 Aug 1935

Hubbardston - Funeral services for Mrs. Michael O’Connor (Mary Ann O’Connell) 
were held Tuesday morning from St. John the Baptist church.  Father Flanagan, 
assisted by Father Welch of Detroit, officiated and interment was in the St. 
Johns cemetery.

Mrs. O’Connor, aged 60, died suddenly Saturday afternoon, August 24.  She was 
born in Lebanon township, where her whole life has been spent.  She is survived 
by her husband, Michael O’Connor, six sons, John, of Jackson; Michael, of 
Lansing and Edmond, James, Fergus and Lawrence at home; one daughter, Mrs. 
Herman Bauer of Portland; four grandchildren, three brothers and one sister.
