Mark L. O'Connor Jr., 43, of Grandville, Michigan died Saturday July 12, 2014 
after a brief illness.  Mark was born in Marquette, MI June 22, 1971. 

In 1977 he moved to Ionia, graduating from Ionia High School in 1989. Mark 
attended LCC and worked most of his life as a glazier.  He was an avid guitar 
player, MSU and Detroit Tiger fan. 

Mark is survived by his wife Heather, sons Jacob, Devin and Patrick, daughters 
Jessica and Allison Self and grandchildren Skylar and Grayson, parents Patricia 
and John Klein of Ionia and Mark and Janet O'Connor of Arizona, sisters Barbara 
(Jeff) Montgomery and Cari Spray (Jack) Frankenfield and Heather Spray of North 
Carolina, sister-in-law Kelly Coyle, many loving aunts, uncles, nephews, 
cousins and friends. 

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial service will be held at Ionia Fishing and 
Hunting Club in Bertha Brock Park on July 18 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Cliff Allen 
presiding.  Visitation and luncheon will follow.  Wear your MSU or Tiger 
Shirts.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of 
the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia.
