Ionia Sentinel Standard - Monday April 7, 1975

                             LYLE V. O'CONNOR

Lyle V. O'Connor, 60, of 1100 Robbins road, Lansing, died of an apparent heart 
attack Friday at a Lansing hospital.

He was the father of Michael O'Connor of Ionia.

He was a native of Carson City, born January 2, 1915, the son of Dennis and 
Katherine O'Neil O'Connor. He had been a resident of Lansing the past eight 
years and attended the Church of the Resurrection.

He was employed by Michigan State University at East Lansing in the maintenance 
department 12 years.

Among his survivors are the wife, the former Bertha E.Martin; four sons, Gene 
D.and Mark L.of Lansing and Patrick R.of Belding and Michael L.of Ionia; two 
daughters, Mrs.Ross Gregory of Wayne and Mrs.Michael Fox of Lansing; 18 
grandchildren; step-mother, Mrs.Emma O'Connor of Carson City and a brother, Leo 
O'Connor of Muskegon Heights.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at Lansing and interment was at 
Hubbardston Cemetery.
