Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ellen O’Connor, 86, was held at St. Joseph’s 
church, Belding, Monday.  Rev. Charles E. Steeves offered the requiem Mass and 
burial was in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Bay City.

Mrs. O’Connor, who had been a resident of Belding for 25 years, died Friday, 
Feb. 13, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Donovan.  She is survived 
by Mrs. Donovan; another daughter, Mrs. Hugh Newburgh, Syracuse, N.Y. and a 
son, Brig. General James O’Connor, of California.  Mr. O’Connor died in 1922.
