During the ten weeks he was at Greenville, ten blood transfusions were given him by his relatives and friends and one man came from Detroit for a transfusion, in the hope it might save Orlo’s life. Orlo was born October 10, 1910, and since his graduation about 10 years ago, had worked continuously at the Belding Basket company’s manufacturing plant. On October 11, 1934, he married Miss Louise Thompson, who survived him. Other survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Odell, and a sister, Mrs. Norma Van Pelt, of Belding. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at three o’clock at the Fales funeral home, Rev. Fred W. Gunther of the Baptist church officiated, and burial was in River Ridge cemetery.
