Born Teresia Kawalski, daughter of Martin and Maggie Kawalski of Ionia, she spent all her life in Ionia. She was graduated from the SS. Peter and Paul academy and on January 22, 1919 was married to Peter A. O’Donnell of Ionia who died February 6, 1923. Mrs. O’Donnell was employed for 24 years by the former Ypsilanti Reed furniture company which is now known as the Ionia Manufacturing company as a switchboard operator. She was a former Ionia telephone operator. Surviving are two sons, Thomas and Hugh of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Chapin of Detroit, Mrs. Virginia Ross and Mrs. Hanna Conroy of Ionia; one brother, Michael Kawalski of Ionia and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the SS. Peter and Paul church with interment at the family lot in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Rosary will be said Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Bradley funeral home on Rich street.
