Ogden, 75, of 227 Pleasant street died early Wednesday morning at Ionia County Memorial hospital shortly after admittance. He was in ill health about four years. He was born June, 2, 1888 in Muir the son of Henry and Anna Haddis Ogden. He attended Muir public schools and shortly after, moved to Ionia where he spent the remainder of his life. September 8, 1924 he was married to Beulah Montgomery. Mr. Odgen had been employed at Mitchell-Bentley corporation and retired as an employe of Consolidated Gas company of Greenville. A veteran of World War I, he served as a member of the 10th infantry. Surviving are his wife, Beulah; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald Noggle of Walled Lake, Mrs. Raymond LaPointe of Drayton Plains, Mrs. Harold Nelson of route three; four sons, Tyrone Ogden of Sheridan, Terry of Ionia and Theodore and Joseph at home; one brother, George Ogden of Nashville, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Myers funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ray Fassett of Zion Evangelical United Brethren church officiating and burial at Tuttle cemetery.
