Mrs. Frank O’Harrow, 64, prominent resident of Boston township, dropped dead Wednesday morning during a conversation with the office girl in the dental parlors of Dr. Frank Jarvis at Grand Rapids. She was a life-long resident of Boston township and well known throughout the county, being a lover of nature, especially floriculture. The body was removed from the dentist’s office to the morgue of O. J. Yeiter at Lowell and the obsequies will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the late home, with Rev. Frederick Williams, pastor of the Clarksville Congregational church, in charge. Interment will be made in South Boston cemetery. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. John Freeman of Boston township. Her son-in-law, John Freeman, accompanied her to Grand Rapids Wednesday and she displayed no signs of illness, being in apparent good health. --------------- O’Harrow Rites Held on Friday Large Number Attend Funeral of Prominent Life-long South Boston Lady The funeral of Mrs. Frank O’Harrow, 64, prominent South Boston township resident, who dropped dead a few days ago in the office of a Grand Rapids dentist, was held from the late home Friday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Frederick Williams, pastor of the Clarksville Congregational church. It was attended by a large number and music was in charge of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nash. The large number of floral offerings were in charge of the honorary pall bearers, who were Mrs. Nellie Young, Mrs. N. W. Stuart, Mrs. Nelson M. O’Beirne, Mrs. Ernest Tucker, and Mrs. Ed Tucker. The active pall bearers were N. W. Stuart, Ernest Tucker, Vern Freeman, Frank Freeman, John Noyes and Nelson O’Beirne. Interment was made in South Boston cemetery. Mrs. O’Harrow had been an active worker in the community and was serving as president of the South Boston May Festival and was treasurer of the Ladies’ Aid society. She was united in marriage to Frank O’Harrow on October 27, 1880, and had lived in South Boston all of her life, with the exception of five years spent in South Dakota. Her maiden name was Lucy Hornbrook.
