Her age was 22, and she was one of three orphan sisters, who have been brought specially close together by the circumstances of their lives. Miss Nellie has been here during the seasons for two years, as trimmer for Miss Deal J. Stephens. Her amiable disposition and charming personality made friends of all who made her acquaintance, and her untimely death causes deep feeling of sorrow in the hearts of many Ionians. Her sister Mary, who had been down with typhoid, came here a few weeks ago, and had been at work in Carten’s store for a short time. Her sister Margaret arrived from Cleveland about a week ago. The remains will be taken to Sandusky for burial, J. M. McGann having arrived from that place to accompany the sisters on their sad journey home. They leave by P.M. at 5:50 this evening.
