RACHELLE OHREN AND CONNIE OHREN

MULLIKEN-  Rachelle Ohren, 16, of 4425 W. Grand Ledge Hwo., Mulliken, died 
February 7 at the scene of an accident on M-43.

Connie Ohren, 15, sister of Rachelle, died Friday, Feb. 9, at 2:45 pm as a 
result of the same accident, after having been in the intensive care united of 
Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

Rosary services for the sisters were held Friday night at the Holihan Funeral 
Home in Grand Ledge. Funeral Mass was at 11 am, Saturday, Feb. 10 at the St. 
Michael Catholic in Grand Ledge with burial in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Mulliken. 

Rachelle Ohren was born on Aug. 9, 1962, and Connie Ohren was born on November 
23, 1963, to the parents of Herbert and Margaret Ohren of Mulliken.

Both girls were students at Lakewood High School.

The are survived by their parents, Herbert and Margaret Ohern; one brother, 
Dean; two sisters, Nancy and Cathy, all of Mulliken; grandparents, Edward Ohren 
of Lansing, Ms. Rosemary Falor of Eagle, Mrs. Dorothy Fedewa of Westphalia ; and 
great-grandmother, Mrs. Regina Schrauben of Westphalia.
