Edwyn Evans officiating, and interment was made in Otisco cemetery. The masonic order of which Mr. Olds was a member, attended in a body. Mr. Olds was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Olds, and was born in Belding, August 23, 1886, and graduated from the Belding public schools in the class of 1902. He worked with his father for a time in the greenhouse, but was of an inventive turn of mind, and always experimenting with electricity. He later secured a position in the Belding Silk Mills and soon became head electrician for Belding Bros., a position he held until about 1932, when he accepted an offer from the Consumers Power company to manage their hydroelectric plant. Survivors are the widow, one daughter, Carmen, of Belding, and two nephews, Clayton Steele of Grand Rapids, and Marion Steele of Dayton, Ohio.
