She was born March 3, 1921 in Ionia the daughter of Guy and Laurenea Andersen Wright. Doris graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1939. She was a past member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Doris had worked as a bookkeeper at Vogue’s Furniture in Belding for over 33 years, retiring in 2003. Doris was married on July 28, 1945 in Belding to Chester F. Olger and he preceded her on April 7, 1996. She was also preceded by her parents. Doris is survived by her children, Gary and Gail Olger of Bleeding, Bruce and Linda Olger of Cohutta, Georgia, her daughter-in-law, Nancy Olger of Belding, 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and her sisters, Wanda Worsley of Grand Rapids and Betty L. Potter of Belding. Funeral services for Doris will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Ken Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Otisco Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Community Church or the American Cancer Society.
