Ionia Sentinel Standard, 15 May 1952

Herbert Oliver, 65, of Lake Odessa Route 3, died Wednesday morning, May 14, at the
home of a daughter, Mrs. Norman Nielson, of Frankfurt where he and Mrs. Oliver had
been visiting.  He had been hospitalized earlier in the year and was being cared for
by his wife and daughter.  Mrs. Oliver is the former Bertha Demeray.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gladah Guynan of Detroit and Mrs. Nielson of
Frankfort; a son, George of Traverse City; a mother, Emma Oliver, of Grand Rapids; a
sister, Mrs. Ercel Carroll of Mt. Clemens; and a brother, Floyd, of Grand Rapids.

The body was removed to the Pickens funeral home in Lake Odessa.  Services will be
held at the Sebewa Baptist church Friday at 2 p.m.  Interment will be at Lakeside
cemetery, Lake Odessa.
