Carmen J. Oliver, 74, Greenville, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at home.  She was
born July 25, 1926, in Ionia, the daughter of Ray and Bernice Sprague Crowner. 
She was a graduate of Ionia High School and attended Greenville Community
Church.  She married Jack E. Oliver on Nov. 3, 1972 in Sparta.  He preceded her
in death July 25, 1998.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas Albright of Oceano, Calif., Stephen
Albright of Sheridan, David and Rhonda Totten of Greenville; her stepson and
step-daughter-in-law, John and Carolyn Oliver of Grand Rapids; her sister and
brother-in-law, Marilyn and Jesse Fox of Greenville; her grandsons, Cody David
Totten, John P. Oliver; her granddaughter, Kathy Reader; and her nieces, Cristie
Hardy, Michelle and Rod Sage and Hallie.  

Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville,
with burial in Sheridan Cemetery.  Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. today.  Memorial
contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
