JANE ANN OLIVER 1951-2017
Jane Ann (Rutz) Oliver, 65, of Ionia passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 
18, 2017 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Jane was born 
on June 29, 1951 in Belding the daughter of Charles and Verda (Shindorf) 
Rutz.

She graduated from Ionia High School with the class of 1969 and in earlier 
years had worked at Oldsmobile in Lansing, the Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons 
and more recently as an in-home caregiver. She enjoyed playing euchre, tubing 
down any river and was always at the sports games of her nieces and nephews 
proudly cheering them on.

Jane is loved and survived by her son, Ty Rutz of Ionia; her siblings, Jack 
(Charlett) Rutz of Saranac, Reta (Dennis) Imhoff of Orleans, Leo (Linda) Rutz 
of Saranac; her nieces and nephews, Tracy, Kelli, Ron, Annie, Heidi, Sarah, 
Aaron, Micah, Seth, Jessica, Danette, Brianne; and many great nieces and 
great nephews; and her loyal canine companion, Maggie.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband David Oliver in 2005 her father 
Charles in 2006 and her mother Verda in 2010.

Graveside funeral services will be 4 p.m. Friday March 24, 2017 at Easton 
Township cemetery on Johnson road, with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. No 
visitation will take place. Memorials may be given to Safe Haven Animal 
Shelter. Envelopes will be available at the service or Johnson-Feuerstein 
Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care had been entrusted. messages of 
condolence may also be given at www.jffh.com
