The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, February 7, 1950

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick’s 
church in Portland for Mrs. Ella Olmstead, 86, who died at the Meitler 
Convalescent home in Portland.  Burial was at the Keefer cemetery.  Mrs. 
Olmstead was a patient at the home since last summer when she suffered a hip 
fracture in a fall.

Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. May Jenkins of Portland, and a son, Allen, of 
Detroit.
