Lyons Herald, 4 Jan 1901

July 3, 1899.  Death of M.V. Olmstead of the township of Orange, one of the
early settlers of this village, dating back to 1836.

[Transcriber Note:  There are notations on the obituary card that he was the son
of Lewis and Hannah (Hurlburt) Olmstead, and that he was buried in Keefer
cemetery.
