Ionia Sentinel Standard - 14 January 1953
Mrs. Minnie Olmstead, 66, of Lansing died of a heart attack at her home Tuesday 
night January 13.  She was a former Belding and Orleans resident. Mrs. Alden 
Rowley of 481 Rice Street, a sister-in-law of Mrs. Olmstead was notified of her 
death last Tuesday night.  Mr. and Mrs. Chubb Olmstead moved from Orleans to 
Grand Ledge in 1910 and later to Lansing in 1930.  Chubb Olmstead preceded his 
wife in death in September, 1947.  The body is at Teman’s Funeral home in Grand 
Ledge where services will be held.  Burial will be in Orleans cemetery Friday 
afternoon.
