He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, daughter, Amber; mother, sister, Mrs. Willard Hunter, of this place; two brothers, Rufus, this place and Frank, of Barryton, besides a host of relatives and friends. Four years ago his health began to fail him and most of the time he was confined to the house being a great sufferer but bore it patiently waiting for the end which came peacefully. His last words were: "God bless you Cora and Amber, good-bye, I'm going." Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the M. E. church, conducted by the pastor, F. E. George, speaking from Ecclesiastes 1-2. The singing was furnished by the male quartette, Messers. Gesler, Gumsby, Haskins and Sissem, which was appreciated by all. CARD OF THANKS: We wish to thank the neighbors and friends who so kindly assisted us during the sickness and burial of our loved husband and father; the Royal Neighbors and Epworth League and others for the flowers, also the male quartette and organist for the beautiful music dendered. - Mrs. Richard Olmstead, Amber Olmstead, Mrs. Maria Olmstead, and children."
