April 10, 1974 EMERY C. OLMSTED Funeral services for Emery C. Olmsted, 56, of 801 harding Street, Belding, at the Charles M.Courser Funeral Home. Rev. Wilford Wood officiated with burial in Rest Haven Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Thomas Mann, Gary Cotter, Harold Rydahl, Gerald Cotter, Dave Cowles and Ray Gillespie. A life area resident, Mr.Olmsted was born in Weidman, the son of Morton and Vera Emery Olmsted. He was married to Helen Thompson in 1973 in Belding. A truck driver for Belding Tool and Machine Corporation, he was an Army Veteran of World War Ii. He was a member of the Belding Sportsmen's Club. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs.David (Pamela) Wyckoff of Kenai, Alaska; a son, Michael Thompson of Ionia; 3 sisters, Mrs.Lynn (Blanche) Smith of San Bruno, California, Mrs.Gordon (Vera) Groesser of Suttons Bay and Mrs John (Martha) Britt of Hialeah, Florida; 2 brothers, Edgar Olmsted of Stuttons Bay and Morton Olmsted of Frankfort and 5 grandchildren.
