BELDING- Richard "Dick" Charles Olsen, 73, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, 
Nov. 8, 2005, at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice.

Richard was born May 14, 1932, in Greenville, the son of George and Esther 
Blodgett Olsen.

dick served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Electrolux 
in 1994 with 41 years of service. Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He 
was a member of the VFW Post in Sheridan and a member of the NRA Restless Ones 
Camping Club. 

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, son, Keith Olsen and sister, Jean 
Crawford.

Dick is survived by his wife, Maureen "Nancy" Olsen; eight children, Wesley 
Olsen of Sheridan, Jeff and Nancy Olsen of Howard City, Lynn and Jake Jacobitz 
of Whitehall, Constance and Gary Frisbie of Middleville, Kendra and Greg Dhaene 
of Belleville, Ill., Carol and Ben Nielsen of Belding, Christine and Tom 
Butterworth, Chad Olsen, all of Greenville; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-
grandchildren; sister, Sonia Trumble; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Bonnie 
and L.B. McQueen of Oxford, Connie and John Kennedy of Belding.

Funeral services are 11 am Friday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken 
Harger officiating. Interment is in Easton Township cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends is from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8:30 pm Thursday 
at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. 

Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice or Shiloh Church.
