Ionia Sentinel-Standard
Leonard N. Olsen, 73, of Ionia died Saturday at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  
Born July 19, 1914, in Holland, Mich. He was the son of Gilbert and Emma Larsen 
Olsen.  He retired from General Motors Fisher Body plant in Lansing in 1975.

Surviving are his wife Helen; a son, James of Ionia; three daughters, Mrs. Rick 
(Nancy) Rummler of Comstock Park, Mrs. Stewart (Janet) Sykes of Grand Rapids, 
and Paulette Olsen of East Lansing; seven grandsons; two brothers, Keith Olsen 
of Perry and Robert Olsen of Rodney; a sister, Mrs. John (Nora Lou) Winkler of 
Mecosta; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday from the Rich Street Chapel of Cook 
Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Burial will be in 
Orleans Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home from 2 to 4 pm and 7 
to 8:30 pm.  A memorial for Ionia County Memorial Hospital has been established 
in care of the funeral home.
