Helen Virginia Olson, 86, of Portland, passed away on May 2, 2007.

She was born on in Detroit Jan. 8, 1921 the daughter of Ralph and Ahava 
(Roberts) Cutler.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; brother; great-
grandson; great-great-grandson; great-great-granddaughter; and loving husband 
of 63 years, Clyde.

She is survived by her eight children, Clyde (Laura) Olson, Sandy Olson, Karen 
(Vance) Forshey, Jeanne (Larry) Penn, Alice (Justice) Richard, Linda (Douglass) 
Conway, Deanna Anderson, and Amy (Devin) Maddox; 19 grandchildren; numerous 
great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; sister, 
Clara Burnard; and aunt, Irene Crandall. 

Funeral services were held May 4 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 
Portland; with Pastor Tad Jameson officiating. Interment followed at Danby Twp. 
Cemetery.
