Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. Nov. 13, 1965

SARANAC- Walter H. Olson, 59, died Saturday in Butterworth hospital, Grand 
Rapids. He had been ill several months and was hospitalized the past three 
weeks.

Mr. Olson operated and implement store in Saranac.

He was born in Broughton township, Illinois, December 16, 1906 and was the son 
of Jacob and Martha Olson.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; one son, Herbert of Saranac; two sisters, 
Mrs. James Walter of Rockford and Mrs. Sam Rich of Ionia.

Funeral service will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Morris funeral home with 
interment at Easton cemetery. The Rev. Eldon Cummings will officiate.
