MARY O'MARA
LAKE ODESSA -  Mary Catherine O'Mara, 87, of Route 2, Lake Odessa, died Saturday 
morning in Pennock Hospital.

She was born on April 4, 1892, in Odessa Township, the daughter of John and Pauline
(Stienberg) O'Mara.

Miss O'Mara attended Limerick School and was employed at Ionia State Hospital and
Eloise Hospital in Wayne for several years before retiring in 1944.

She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, the parish alter society, Wayne
County  retirement  Association and the Lake Odessa Senior Citizens.

She is survived by one sister, Anna J. O'Mara of Lake Odessa; one sister-in-law,
Emma O'Mara; three nieces, Marie O'Mara, Pauline Hubbard and Rosemary Hickey; three 
nephews, Tom O'Mara, Lawrence O'Mara and Eugene O'Mara; and several grand-great-
grand- and great-great-grand-nieces and nephews.

A sister, Winifred O'Mara, and two brothers, Thomas and Frank, preceded her in
death.

Funeral Mass was Monday in St. Edwards Catholic Church in Lake Odessa. Rosary was 
Sunday in Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.

Burial was in Mt.Olivet Cemetery in Ionia.
