Ionia Sentinel Standard - September 26, 1977

                               THOMAS O'MARA

LAKE ODESSA-Thomas P. O'Mara, 89, died at his residence on Route 2, West 
Clarksville road, late Saturday.

He was born January 30, 1888, the son of John and Pauline Steinberg O'Mara, and 
lived his entire life on the farm where he was born and died. He attended 
Limerick school and was a retired farmer.

He was a member of St.Edward's Catholic Church in Lake Odessa.

He is survived by two sisters, Mary and Anna O'Mara, who live at the family 
residence, nieces and nephews.

A brother,Frank, died in 1967, and a sister,Winifred, in 1942.

Rosary will be Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass 
will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St.Edward's Catholic Church, Father Charles 
Dautremont officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Ionia.
