Mrs. O’Mara, whose maiden name was Paulina Steinberg, was born in Germany, March 4, 1853. She came to American in 1878 and directly to Ionia county, being at that time twenty-five years of age. She was married to John O’Mara February 12, 1884, and immediately went to housekeeping at the farm home in Odessa, where she has resided continually since that time. Besides her husband, John O’Mara, she leaves five children, Winifred, Thomas, Frank, Mary and Anna, and three grandchildren. Three sisters, Mrs. Mary Biehler, Mrs. George Hill and Mrs. Julia Wooden, and two brothers, Roman Steinberg and Frank Steinberg, also survive. Funeral was held at the church of Ss. Peter & Paul, Ionia, on Saturday morning at 9:30. Burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
