The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 23, 1936
Mrs. Martin O’Meara died Saturday, March 21 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Martin McNamara, Lovell Place.  She was taken ill Tuesday evening with lobar 
pneumonia.  Mrs. O’Meara had been spending the winter with her daughter and at 
the time of her death all the members of her family were here.

She is survived by six children, Dr. James O’Meara, Mrs. Phillip Reilly, Mrs. 
Kenneth Bunting, of Jackson; Mrs. Ruth Potter, of Florida; Mrs. Mildred 
McNamara of Ionia, and Martin O’Meara.

The body was taken to her home in Jackson Saturday afternoon and funeral 
services will be held there Tuesday morning.
