Dal E Onan, age 68, of Ionia, MI, passed away February 13, 2019.

She was born on September 26, 1950, in Ionia the daughter of Merton (Bud) and 
Pauline (Tillie) (Castle) Putnam. She was a graduate of Ionia High School, 
Class of 1968. She married Randy Barnes on August 1, 2005, who passed away 
May 15, 2018. Dal was a supervisor at Amway until retirement. She loved going 
to the casino, camping, reading, ALA-Anon, cooking and baking. Family was 
very important to her.

Surviving are her daughter, Denel Carr of Eagle; grandchildren, Dylan Carr of 
Eagle, Devin Carr of Eagle,Peyton Carr of Eagle; niece, Deb (Doug) Hotchkiss 
of Ionia; nephew, Dave (Katie) Holcomb of Ionia; sister, Kathleen Putnam 
Faber of Lansing and many great nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Randy, step-dad Bert 
Husted, brother Dave Putnam, sisters Dawn Holcomb and LeAnn Putnam, great 
nieces Brooke and Audi. 

Celebration of Live will be held at the Ionia Moose Lodge on February 18, 
from 3-5 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Sparrow 
Hospice or Ionia Moose Lodge Moose Heart. Arrangements in care of Lake 
Funeral Home of Ionia. Online condolences may be made at lakefuneralhomes.com
