The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 24, 1937

Charles O’Neil, 82, died at the Traverse City hospital, March 22.  He came to 
Ionia at the age of 17, and worked on the Place farm at Prairie Creek.  He 
lived in Ionia county for 65 years.  He is survived by no near relatives other 
than nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be from the Fay Hall funeral home on Dexter street, 
Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock with Rev. Paul Stewart officiating.  Interment 
will be at the Highland Park cemetery.
