FORMER IONIAN IS VICTIM OF SUDDEN DEATH ON TUESDAY

Richard M. O'Neill, 62, Succumbs To Stroke of Apoplexy At Kalamazoo Hotel.

Richard M. O'Neill, 62, well known former Ionian, passed away at a Kalamazoo 
hotel early Tuesday morning following a stroke of apoplexy.

He was known to many in this city, being a member of the Ionia B.P.O.E. and 
past grand knight of the Ionia K. of C. and active in community life while a 
resident here.

The funeral was held from St. Andrew's cathedral in Grand Rapids on Friday 
morning at 9 o'clock and interment was made at Woodlawn cemetery, that city.

He was born at Stratford, Ont., and came to this city about 30 years ago, 
living here for ten years, being employed by the Pere Marquette. For the past 
twenty years he resided at Grand Rapids. On June 23, 1903 he was united in 
marriage to Miss Katherine Burke, of Ionia who survives him.
