The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, June 22, 1931

Mrs. Harriet A. O’Niel, 79, of Prairie Creek, died Saturday evening at 6:30 
following a long illness.  The funeral services will be conducted from the 
home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 by Rev. Paul L. Stewart.  Interment will be in 
Highland Park cemetery.

Mrs. O’Niel was born in Wisconsin and lived here many years.  Surviving are 
the husband, Charles; daughters, Mrs. J. M. Burd, of Pittsburgh; Miss Florence 
Place, of Pittsburgh, and Miss Lulu Place, of Ionia; a brother, E. T. Sterns, 
of Grand Rapids, and a sister, Mrs. Archie Hewett of Pittsburg.
