Orban, 77, of 308 Colby street, died at Ionia County Memorial hospital December 24 after being a patient three weeks. He was born in Lebanon, January 25, 1889 and was the son of Tqris and Marian Orban. He came to the United States when he was 16 years old and was a sales representative in Coldwater several years. Mr. Orban moved to Ionia and was employed at Ionia manufacturing 24 years, prior to retirement in 1964. Surviving are his wife, Ama; a son, George; two brothers, Henry Orban of Coldwater and Celine of Syria; a sister, Salima of England, two nephews and two nieces. Funeral services were at Boynton funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. bearers were Jack Hopkins, Robert Hopkins, Russell Hull, Leonard Schwab, Stanley Foote, and John Rademacher. Rev. Charles Pugh assisted by Rev. Dwight Keller of Church of Nazarene officiated with burial in Highland Park cemetery. Among those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Foote, F. J. Hopkins, Leonard Schwab, Mrs. Anna White, Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Brock, Flossie Donnelly, Mrs. Wilfred Wiezorek Sr., Marilyn and Judy Wiezorek, Rev. and Mrs. Charles Pugh, Mrs. Wesley J. Harp, Mrs. Vernon VanBuren, Mrs. Vione McCord and Rose Nevins of Ionia; Louie Albert, Mrs. and Mrs. M. N. Nakfoon, Mrs. Joseph Corey, Emile Aphaddad, Nancy Toomey, Ramiz Hourani, George Skory, Mrs. Beatrice Farhat; Abie Albert, George Albert, Annie Corey, Louis Skory, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lasher, Jos Lasher, Sol Lasher, A. C. Game and H. J. Namey of Lansing; Dwight Keelar of Durand; George Jamra of Flint, Mrs. Steve H. Hunn and Ben D. Huestis of Parma, Mrs. Archie Calkins and daughters of Lyons and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Denny of Portland.
