H. N. Spear, officiating. Aaron Osborn was born in Otisco township, 46 years ago, and has lived in this section of the country all of his life. He was a genial, whole-souled and good-natured fellow and made friends where ever he went. Some years ago, he became a member of the Smyrna tent, No. 728, K.O.T.M.M. and when the sudden and tragic death came to him, he was commander of the tent. He carried a policy of$1,000 in the order, for the protection of his wife and little daughter, who will miss his kind affection and loving care. The funeral was one of the largest ever held here and 67 teams followed the remains to their last resting place. Six of his Maccabee brothers acted as pall bearers, and several of the Maccabee ladies furnished music for the occasion. The remains were laid to rest in the Riverside cemetery, and thus, closed one of the saddest incidents that the News has ever been called upon to chronicle.
