Osborne, 71, 85 Church street, Saranac died Saturday evening at his residence following short illness. He was born December 2, 1895 in Saranac, the son of Harry and Nancy Osborne. He resided in Saranac his entire life. Mr. Osborne has been employed the last 25 years at Morris-Roetman funeral home in Saranac. He was known as the good deed man of the village, helping anyone who was in need. He was a veteran of World war I and a member of American Legion. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Azelton of Grayling and Goldie Evilsizer, Tucson, Arizona; one brother, Guy Osborne of rural Saranac. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in Saranac with burial in Marble cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Wednesday, September 20, 1967 Mrs. Vena Evans officiate at funeral services Tuesday for Roy R. Osborne of Saranac who died Saturday evening. Burial was in Marble cemetery. Bearers were Moris Green, Roy Weber, John Adgate, Cecil Morris, Dwight Brown and Edwin Roetman.
