Former Belding Resident Passes

Mrs. Edward  Osborne, formerly Julia Comer, died at her home near Orleans last
Tuesday, July 28, aged 62 years.  She was at one time a resident of Belding but
moved to the farm several years ago.  She had been in ill health for about four
years.

Mrs. Osborne was the oldest of four children the other three of whom are living.
 They are:  Mrs. Lydia Earnshaw, Superior, Wis.; John Comer of Fenwick and
Robert Comer of Grand Rapids.  Besides these the husband and one daughter, Mrs.
Jennie Sellick, survive her.

Funeral services were held in Orleans last Thursday afternoon at three o’clock.
 Interment in the Belding cemetery.
