The Ionia County News, Thursday, November 24, 1932

Alex B. Osborne, for 25 years assistant cashier of the Farmers and Merchants 
bank of Lake Odessa, died Friday night at the University hospital in Ann Arbor 
following a lingering heart ailment.

He was 61 years of age and is survived by the widow and three brothers, 
William, of Grand Rapids, and Lafayette and John, of Carlton; and one sister, 
Mrs. Theron Cain, of Hastings.

Mr. Osborn was a prominent member of the Congregational church and was active 
in the Masonic and Odd Fellow lodges.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Congregational church in Lake Odessa 
and interment was in Lake Side cemetery.
