June M. Osborne, 58, of Ionia died unexpectedly Tuesday at the Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.  She was born May 15, 1930 in Ionia, the daughter of Charles 
and Ruth Sonier.  She graduated from Ionia High School in 1948.  She married 
James Osborne on July 11, 1948 in Saranac.

Surviving are her husband, James; two sons, Larry of Alto and James H. of 
Ionia; six daughters; Mrs. Ray (Chris) Krebill of Greenville; Mrs. Phillip 
(Linda) DePotty of Saranac; Mrs. John (Jamie) Rodriquez of Puerto Rico; Mrs. 
David (Sandy) Delinsky of Ionia; Mrs. Richard (Sharon) Richmond of Ionia; and 
Donna Osborne of Ionia; seven grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Rudy (Mary) Tupis 
of Cadillac; one half-brother, Pat Goodenough of Sheridan; one half-sister, 
Mrs. LaVerne (Margarite) Noordman of Grand Rapids; and several nieces and 
nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son, James E. Jr. in 1949.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday from the Cook Funeral Home in 
Ionia, with the Rev. Kathryn Coombs of the Easton United Methodist Church 
officiating.  Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.  Visiting hours at 2 to 4 p.m. 
and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
