Lena Osgood, Wife of Former Pastor Dies

Mrs. Lena Osgood, 73, wife of Rev. Isaac Osgood, route one, Delton, passed away 
last Tuesday evening, June 5, at Pennock Hospital, Hastings.

She was born November 13, 1890, the daughter of Elmer and Jenni (Mills) Warren 
and married Rev. Osgood October 3, 1943. Mrs. Osgood was a member of the 
Hastings United Brethren church and served as a pastor's wife for 29 1/2 years.

Rev. and Mrs. Osgood were former residents when he was pastor of Calvary United 
Brethren church and he had also served the Woodland church. 

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Duane (Nelda) Fox of 
Freeport; a son David of Jackson and six grandchildren.

funeral services were held on Friday at the Williams Funeral Home at Delton. 
Rev. Edgar Perkins and Rev. Howard Hamblin officiated with burial in the Prairie 
cemetery.
