Lake O. Wave, Thurs. March 13, 1947

Grant Osgood, 65, former railroad agent here and one time village assessor, died 
unexpectedly on the street Monday morning from a heart attack. He was agent here 
and in Delton for the old Chicago Kalamazoo & Saginaw railroad.

Surviving are his wife, Edith; a son, Lyon in Woodland, a daughter, Mrs. Gladys 
Parmeter in Battle Cree, and three grandchildren. 

Funeral services were to be held from the Leonard Funeral home in Hastings this 
Thursday afternoon, with burial in Woodland Memorial Park.
