Ostrander, 70, died early Wednesday morning at his home at 917 South Bridge, Belding, following an illness of six months. He was born at Breckenridge, May 19, 1902 and lived in the Belding area the past 50 years. He was retired from Process Equipment Corp. in Belding in 1964. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church, Dad’s post of VFW, Lions club and Belding Sportsmen’s club. He was married to the former Helena Dehn, in 1930. She preceded him in death July 18, 1970. September 13, 1971 he was married to the former Mrs. Mary Tomlinson and she survives. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Jean Satterlee and Mrs. Joyce Miller of Belding; two sons, Paul and Wayne of Belding; 18 grandchildren. Funeral mass will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic church in Belding with Fr. Charles E. Steves as celebrant. Rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. at Charles M. Courser funeral home in Belding.
