The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 25, 1985

Funeral services for Salem C. Ostrander, 67, of Ionia, who died Wednesday, 
were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Leddick Funeral Home, with the Rev. F. 
Michael Valentine of Ionia First Christian Church officiating.  Burial was in 
Balcom Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wayne Piercefield, Jerome LaFontzee, Robert Salter, James 
Kennedy, James Cole and David Cook.  Following graveside services, lunch was 
served to family and friends at First Christian Church’s dining room.
