Henry H. Ostrander, aged 73 years, for many years a resident of this city and
well known here, passed away at his home on W. High street Tuesday evening at
about seven o’clock.  His death followed a period of ill health which had
extended over a period of two years and which was climaxed by an attack of
apoplexy which came on him about 8:30 Monday evening.  Funeral services will be
held from his late home on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, with Rev. H. S.
Ellis officiating and burial will be in Forest Home cemetery at Greenville. 
Surviving are the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Frank Smith, of 107 E. Division
St., this city; Mrs. William Walkington, of Blanchard, and Mrs. Stephen Parr, of
Lansing, also a son, Elmer Ostrander of Kalamazoo.
